I always had stories in my head. From an early age I made several attempts to write a novel but never completed one. I always lost heart mainly due to thinking the idea I had was dated or already used in another story. It wasn't until I reached fifty that I succeeded in completing a manuscript.

That novel was a speculative fiction work of 160K words. My pride and joy; at the time. Then I began to learn about writing.

I have since completed a few short stories and another two novels; a young adult novel of 80K words and a suspense/mystery of 75K words.

In 2012 I completed a Master of Arts (Writing) at Swinburne University. That has taught me a great deal but has also allowed me to focus my thinking on writing and to read several books on the subject. All of this has certainly improved my technical prowess in writing.

I now, as so many do, dream of having my novels successfully published. An aim to which I am dedicated although I feel it is akin to holding a dedication to winning the lottery.
